An opportunity has arisen for an Infrastructure Engineer (DV Cleared) to join a specialist cyber technology and software assurance company supporting UK Defence and Critical National Infrastructure programmes.
As an Infrastructure Engineer , you will design, implement, maintain and support IT infrastructure while contributing to project delivery, automation and continuous improvement.
This Full-time role offers salary range of £70,000 - £80,000 and benefits. Occasional travel may be required.

You will be responsible for:
Design and implement physical and virtual IT infrastructure solutions in line with customer requirements.
Maintain and support IT infrastructure, troubleshoot faults, monitor system health, and manage backups, patching, vulnerabilities and hardware and software upgrades.
Create and maintain infrastructure documentation, including major incident records and resolution actions.
Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools, lead IT project delivery, and ensure compliance with security, privacy and ethical standards.
Attend UK meetings, events and training activities as required, and perform other duties as required.
What we are looking for:
Essential:
Previously worked as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role.
Experience within systems administration and IT infrastructure support.
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Background leading or taking ownership of IT project delivery.
Strong knowledge of networking technologies and equipment, including Cisco, Juniper, HP and Dell.
Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and related networking protocols.
Familiarity with virtualisation technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
Practical knowledge of Ansible/AWX, Python, PowerShell and BASH for scripting or infrastructure automation.
Experience managing and supporting Microsoft and Linux environments.
Knowledge of backup technologies, including NetBackup and Veeam.
