An opportunity has arisen for a Property Manager to join a well-established estate agency known for their proactive approach to lettings and tenant relations across the Edinburgh residential market.
As a Property Manager , you will manage a residential property portfolio, oversee tenancy matters and support the wider property management team.
This full-time role offers a salary range of £32,000 - £35,000 and benefits.
You will be responsible for:
Manage a portfolio of residential properties throughout the tenancy lifecycle
Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants
Coordinate maintenance and repair works ensuring issues are resolved efficiently
Handle tenancy disputes, complaints and complex property matters
Ensure all properties remain compliant with Scottish lettings legislation and safety requirements
Oversee HMO properties and associated licensing obligations
Conduct property inspections and follow up on any required actions
Support and mentor junior members of the property management team
Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure high service standards
Maintain accurate property records and documentation
The candidates from the following background will be considered:
Property Manager, Lettings Manager, Lettings Property Manager, Residential Property Manager, Property Management Officer, Tenancy Manager, Portfolio Manager or in a similar role.
What we are looking for :
Essential:
Approx. 2-3 years' experience within residential property management
Understanding of Scottish lettings legislation and compliance requirements
Experience managing HMO properties
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and workloads simultaneously
Confident handling challenging conversations and resolving disputes
Experience mentoring or supporting colleagues
Desirable:
ARLA Propertymark qualification
Letwell qualification
