Location: With office space in Stockton-on-Tees, co-working space in London, and flexible working arrangements, we’re open to candidates across the UK. Role Overview: The Social & Community Manager is responsible for leading the organic social and community strategy across Remi Cachet and Additional Lengths, ensuring the brands grow in authority and engagement across professional and consumer audiences. This role is social-first and brand-led, with a strong emphasis on building and nurturing Remi Cachet’s professional hairdresser community. The role provides strategic direction, leadership and oversight of content, community engagement and professional partnerships, while managing and developing a team of Social Media Executives responsible for day-to-day execution.
- Own and lead the organic social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and emerging platforms.
- Define clear social objectives, content pillars and platform roles aligned to brand and growth goals.
- Oversee weekly and monthly content planning to ensure consistent, high-quality and strategically aligned output.
- Lead the direction and creative oversight of social-first content shoots, campaigns and activations.
- Set and maintain standards for visual identity, tone of voice and storytelling across all social channels.
- Develop engaging content strategies that support wider marketing activity across paid social, CRM and web.
- Drive the growth and engagement of Remi Cachet’s professional stylist community and brand advocacy network.
- Build and strengthen relationships with stylists, salons, educators and industry ambassadors.
- Lead community-building initiatives across social channels, events, education and brand activations.
- Support and evolve the Super Stylist network through collaboration, visibility and educational opportunities.
- Line manage and develop two Social Media Executives, providing coaching, direction and support.
- Oversee community engagement, sentiment monitoring and identification of UGC and advocacy opportunities.
- Track, analyse and report on social and community performance against key KPIs and growth objectives.
- Collaborate closely with brand, digital, education and wider marketing teams to deliver cohesive campaigns and storytelling.
- Act as the key internal lead for social media and community activity, providing strategic guidance across the business.
About You: We’re ideally looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in a Social Media, Community or Brand role within the hair or beauty industry.
- People-management experience, including coaching, feedback and development of direct reports.
- Demonstrable success owning organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, with clear growth, engagement and brand impact.
- Strong background in brand-led, social-first storytelling, with the ability to translate brand positioning into culturally relevant content.
- Experience working with professional or trade communities.
- Hands-on experience building engaged professional communities, stylist networks or brand advocacy programmes.
- Proven ability to brief, direct and oversee content creation, including shoots, campaigns and social activations.
- Passion for community-building and creating meaningful relationships within the professional hair industry.
