Role Overview

What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and developing strong relationships with mortgage intermediaries over the phone
- Managing new, existing and lapsed broker accounts to drive new business
- Promoting residential and buy-to-let products, clearly explaining criteria, processes and value
- Handling enquiries by phone and email, structuring deals and issuing terms within SLA
- Proactively following up on terms to convert opportunities into live applications
- Confidently handling objections and keeping momentum through the sales cycle
- Working closely with field-based BDMs to support regional targets
- Hosting virtual meetings with intermediaries to present lending propositions
- Keeping brokers informed of product, pricing and criteria updates
- Accurately recording activity and pipeline updates within the CRM system
- Staying aware of competitor offerings and wider mortgage market trends
Main Skills Needed
- Proven experience with Residential and/or Buy-to-Let mortgage products
- Strong telephone presence with the ability to influence and build rapport quickly
- Confidence structuring deals and progressing opportunities through to completion
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high service standard
- Comfortable handling objections and working towards sales targets
- Strong IT skills across CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Clear, professional communication skills — written and verbal
