Production Planner

In this dynamic role, you will coordinate with multiple departments to plan materials, oversee work-in-progress, and ensure timely delivery of products. Your expertise will help us maintain seamless operations, from materials planning to inventory management, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
- At least 3 years’ experience as a planner in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with MRP tools (SAP or IFS preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Good computer literacy skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience managing small or medium manufacturing teams
- Prior experience with supply chain coordination
- Familiarity with system change notices and build status updates
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Degree qualification, preferably in a relevant subject area
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
- A-Level education in relevant subjects
Other Requirements:
- Resided in the UK for the last 5 years to meet security clearance eligibility (SC clearance preferred)
- Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
- Willingness to support health, safety, and environmental policies
