As a Technical Programme/Project Manager, you will spearhead the delivery of a groundbreaking ‘Insight Engine’ designed to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making for our store colleagues and management teams. This pivotal role combines strategic oversight with hands-on management in a dynamic, agile environment, ensuring seamless collaboration across data science, AI, digital technology, and retail teams. Your expertise will help drive transformative change, turning ambitious ideas into impactful outcomes.
Duration: 6-month contract
Location: 2 days per week in Paddington
Budget: £590pd Inside IR35
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale technology programmes or complex product build environments
- Strong track record in retail sector projects or transformations
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to navigate multiple levels of internal and external teams
- Hands-on experience operating in an agile, product-led environment
- Ability to drive end-to-end project execution with a focus on aligning outcomes to strategic objectives
- Robust operational management skills with attention to detail and delivery momentum
Nice to Have Skills:
- Current or previous experience with retail projects a bonus
- Knowledge in data science, data products, or AI implementation
- Experience managing or working within data & technology collaborations with retail teams
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Demonstrable success in managing technology or product development programmes, ideally within retail or consumer-facing industries
