What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Build and manage fully integrated project schedules across large, complex programmes using Primavera P6
  • Partner with Programme and Project Managers to provide clear planning insight and direction
  • Carry out critical path analysis, scenario modelling and recovery planning
  • Identify and manage scheduling risks and opportunities, embedding mitigations into plans
  • Support bid activity with structured, compliant planning inputs and schedules
  • Apply Earned Value Management to track performance and assess project changes
  • Deliver schedule risk analysis and present findings to senior stakeholders
  • Produce high-quality reports and dashboards to support decision-making
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, commercial and supply chain teams to maintain schedule integrity
  • Mentor junior planners and act as a go-to expert for planning best practice

Main Skills Needed:

  • Strong experience in project planning within defence, aerospace or complex engineering environments
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and integrated master scheduling
  • Proven track record using Earned Value Management techniques
  • Experience with schedule risk analysis and quantitative modelling
  • Confident analysing and communicating complex data to stakeholders
  • Ability to coordinate planning across multiple teams and suppliers
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills and fluent English
