Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the upkeep and enhancement of existing e-learning content, ensuring it reflects current industry practices and legal standards.
  • Lead the creation and rollout of new e-learning modules.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including programme leads and product owners, to develop, deliver, and grow training programmes.
  • Support the ongoing development of the organisation’s e-learning strategy to meet the training needs of professionals in the film and TV industries.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to define learning objectives and develop content for new and updated modules, including collaboration with key industry partners.
  • Manage external supplier contracts, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the creation and revision of scripts and interactive content with developers, ensuring alignment with industry needs and best practices in e-learning design; occasionally develop content directly.
  • Supervise the development of more complex media assets (e.g. video and animation scripts) in collaboration with developers.
  • Work closely with product owners to improve the user experience, delivery, and certification of e-learning modules within the platform.
  • Collect and analyse user feedback to build evidence, case studies, and insights that inform ongoing improvements and demonstrate impact.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, attend relevant meetings and events, and provide support to other projects as required.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience in designing and delivering e-learning or digital learning products, ideally within training, publishing, or L&D environments.
  • Proven ability to create clear, engaging e-learning content in collaboration with SMEs.
  • Experience defining learning outcomes and structuring effective modules.
  • Demonstrated experience managing digital learning projects from concept to delivery (e.g. using tools like Articulate Rise).
  • Experience commissioning and managing external suppliers, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
  • Solid understanding of best practices in e-learning design and user experience.
  • Working knowledge of learning platforms and LMS systems.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across diverse audiences.
  • Creative, solution-oriented mindset.
