Senior VMware Engineer

Role Overview:
- Location: Farnborough (Hybrid)

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deploying and configuring VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), including vSphere, NSX, and vSAN.
- Managing patching, upgrades, and high-availability strategies across VCF environments.
- Driving the integration of VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes into virtualised environments.
- Managing containerised workloads and ensuring security and compliance for Tanzu clusters.
- Using vROps to monitor performance, manage capacity, and design custom dashboards.
- Collaborating with infrastructure, network, and security teams on complex client projects.
- Supporting knowledge transfer and training on VMware tools and best practices.
Main Skills Needed:
- Solid hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, Tanzu, and vROps.
- Proficiency across VMware stack: vSphere, NSX, vSAN.
- Understanding of Kubernetes and containerised environments.
- Ability to build scalable, secure, and compliant virtual infrastructure.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV) or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
