What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering Integrated Logistics Support across complex defence engineering programmes
- Assessing the impact of design and system changes on long-term support solutions
- Leading and contributing to analyses including FMECA, LORA, LCCA and PHS&T
- Supporting training, disposal planning, and hazardous material considerations
- Producing ILS management plans aligned with defence standards and business strategy
- Driving proactive and reactive obsolescence activities across system lifecycles
- Identifying spares strategies in line with MoD policy and NATO codification
- Supporting reliability modelling, maintenance policy development, and RCM activity
- Contributing to bid work, shaping estimates, and challenging customer requirements
- Championing the value of ILS across engineering, delivery, and customer teams
Main Skills Needed:
- Proven ILS or support engineering experience within the UK defence environment
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience (HNC Level 4 or above)
- Strong understanding of UK Defence Standards and relevant international standards
- Experience supporting maritime surface or sub-surface platforms
- Exposure to control systems and software-focused support environments
- Working knowledge of obsolescence management and lifecycle support principles
