What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the ongoing security and resilience of internal systems and infrastructure
- Conducting risk assessments in line with recognised frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27005
- Developing, reviewing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Working closely with technical and operational teams to embed security best practices across projects
- Supporting compliance activities and producing evidence to meet regulatory and MOD requirements
- Managing security risks and changes across cloud, endpoint, and infrastructure environments
- Contributing to secure delivery practices within Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD environments
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen operational security and improve business continuity
Main Skills Needed:
- Strong background in information security, risk management, and compliance
- Experience working with Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, JAMF, Windows, macOS, and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of security frameworks, governance, and secure operational processes
- Understanding of Agile delivery, DevSecOps principles, and secure change management
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Analytical approach with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Previous experience within defence, national security, or other regulated environments would be highly beneficial
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or similar are advantageous
