The Opportunity

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join a growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 6 months to 2 years of sales, business development, recruitment, or customer-facing experience who wants to develop a successful career in B2B sales. You'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, engaging with senior decision-makers, and creating qualified sales opportunities for the wider commercial team. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective clients through outbound calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and other business development activities.
  • Generate and qualify new business opportunities for the sales team.
  • Research target organisations and key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Manage outbound prospecting activity to achieve agreed KPIs and targets.
  • Qualify inbound enquiries and assess potential opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and activity within the CRM system.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to support lead generation campaigns.
  • Develop strong relationships with prospective clients and understand their business challenges.
  • Support the sales process by arranging meetings, demonstrations, and follow-up activities.

Essential

  • 6 months to 2 years' experience in sales, business development, recruitment, customer service, or another client-facing role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident speaking with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
