What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting the full Verification & Validation lifecycle across complex software and hardware systems.
- Planning, coordinating and delivering V&V activities in line with industry and defence standards.
- Producing clear documentation, reports, metrics and project artefacts to support delivery milestones.
- Leading or mentoring engineers across allocated work packages and ensuring quality outputs.
- Participating in integration, acceptance testing, design reviews and technical investigations.
- Managing defect tracking, root cause analysis and issue resolution activities.
- Collaborating closely with systems, software and project teams within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
- Supporting systems engineering activities across requirements, integration and acceptance phases.
Main Skills Needed:
- Proven experience delivering Verification & Validation or IVVTQA activities within complex engineering environments.
- Background in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Control Systems or a related discipline.
- Experience working with DOORS or similar requirements and test management tools.
- Strong understanding of engineering lifecycles, testing methodologies and quality processes.
- Ability to analyse technical issues, identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior engineers.
- Exposure to defence, safety-critical or highly regulated industries would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of mission systems, naval technologies or command and control environments is advantageous.
