We are currently recruiting for the role of HR Advisor for our clients dynamic team. In this key position, you'll provide expert guidance and support throughout the entire employee lifecycle, championing best practices and driving positive change across all HR initiatives.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Location: Milton Keynes

Package: £45,000 + Excellent Benefits

Industry: Construction

What you’ll be doing:

  • Offer expert advice and hands-on support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law to ensure clarity and compliance
  • Manage employee relations cases with professionalism, including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance improvement, and absence management
  • Drive HR projects and initiatives that enhance engagement, wellbeing, and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, from crafting compelling job adverts to seamless onboarding of new team members
  • Maintain meticulous HR records and deliver insightful reporting and analytics to support strategic decision-making
  • Champion learning and development efforts by identifying growth opportunities and supporting employee skill enhancement
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements to protect the organisation and its people

Main Skills/ Requirements:

  • CIPD qualification (or actively working towards it) or equivalent proven experience in HR
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices, staying current with industry developments
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building strong, collaborative relationships
  • Confident and discreet in managing sensitive and complex employee relations matters
  • Highly organised with keen attention to detail and the ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office and experienced with HR systems and technology
