This role will help shape and improve the end-user technology used by thousands of people, with a particular focus on building a secure, reliable and modern mac OS estate.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Take technical ownership of the mac OS environment, designing and delivering solutions across end-user devices.
- Manage and enhance mac OS devices using Jamf Pro and wider mobile device management tooling.
- Work closely with Technical Architects, Principal Engineers and other infrastructure specialists to develop the end-user computing platform.
- Act as a technical escalation point for live services, investigating complex issues and carrying out root cause analysis.
- Produce clear technical design, build and infrastructure documentation for mac OS solutions.
- Support Windows and mobile environments where required, helping wider engineering and first-line support teams resolve technical challenges.
- Maintain and continuously improve device platforms, including monitoring, alerting and preventative maintenance.
- Deliver controlled infrastructure changes while following established change management processes.
- Share technical knowledge across the team and contribute to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
Main Skills Needed
- Strong commercial experience managing and administering mac OS environments at scale.
- Hands-on expertise with
Jamf Pro for mac OS device management.
- Good knowledge of Windows environments, including
Active Directory, SCCM and Group Policy .
- Experience managing mobile devices using platforms such as
Workspace ONE / Air Watch .
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly across complex infrastructure environments.
- Understanding of technical security and how security requirements influence end-user device design and operation.
- Experience supporting infrastructure services across a large user base.
- Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, alerting and preventative maintenance.
- Experience delivering planned infrastructure changes within formal change control processes.
- Comfortable collaborating across technical teams and sharing knowledge with other engineers.
SC security clearance is required for the role.
