We are partnered with a forward-thinking organisation in the heart of London seeking an HR People & Operations Coordinator to join their team.
Location: London - Required in the office 2-3 days per week
Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum
Onboarding & Induction
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding for new starters, including induction scheduling, right-to-work checks, and system setup
- Liaise with hiring managers and IT to manage onboarding timelines and equipment provision
- Support and attend inductions and ensure all employee systems (HR, IT, payroll, benefits, LMS) are correctly set up
- Escalate reasonable adjustment requirements and support Access to Work processes
Recruitment & Hiring
- Support hiring managers with role requirements and recruitment briefings
- Prepare job descriptions and advertise vacancies across internal and external platforms
- Manage candidate communications, screening, interviews, and feedback
- Coordinate offers, contracts, pre-employment checks, and handover to onboarding
Payroll
- Support monthly payroll processes and maintain accurate payroll data
- Act as a key contact to ensure payroll information is complete, accurate, and shared on time
Performance & Probation
- Coordinate probation and performance review processes
- Issue review documentation, track completion, and maintain accurate records
HR Systems & Administration
- Administer the HR system (IRIS Cascade), including employee records, contracts, and reporting
- Prepare employment documentation, conduct IR35 assessments, and ensure legal and data protection compliance
- Monitor annual leave and maintain up-to-date HR templates and documentation
Benefits Administration
- Manage employee benefits via Reward Gateway and process scheme-related requests
Employee Relations & Offboarding
- Coordinate exit interviews and leaver processes, including system access removal
- Support the Head of HR with administrative and notetaking support as required
Projects
- Contribute to people initiatives and continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and employee experience
Key Skills
- Proven experience in an HR, People Operations, or HR Administration role
- Strong organisational and administrative capability, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- A proactive, solutions-driven approach, with a willingness to learn, constructively challenge existing processes, and contribute to continuous improvement
- Experience working across multiple systems and data sources, with strong Excel skills
- Good working knowledge of HR processes across the full employee lifecycle
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work closely with managers and employees at all levels
- High level of attention to detail, with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity
