What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the ongoing security and resilience of internal systems and infrastructure
  • Conducting risk assessments in line with recognised frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27005
  • Developing, reviewing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Working closely with technical and operational teams to embed security best practices across projects
  • Supporting compliance activities and producing evidence to meet regulatory and MOD requirements
  • Managing security risks and changes across cloud, endpoint, and infrastructure environments
  • Contributing to secure delivery practices within Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD environments
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen operational security and improve business continuity

Main Skills Needed:

  • Strong background in information security, risk management, and compliance
  • Experience working with Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, JAMF, Windows, macOS, and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, governance, and secure operational processes
  • Understanding of Agile delivery, DevSecOps principles, and secure change management
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
  • Analytical approach with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Previous experience within defence, national security, or other regulated environments would be highly beneficial
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or similar are advantageous
