The Learning and Development Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the central L&D function by planning, coordinating, and delivering training initiatives. This role helps ensure employees develop the skills and capabilities required for success by managing learning programmes, maintaining accurate data, facilitating communication, and contributing to a positive onboarding and training experience.
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000
Location: Hertfordshire
Working set up: Hybrid - 3 days per week on-site
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and organise training sessions and workshops (virtual and in-person).
- Manage logistics, including venues, materials, and communications.
- Assign and track training, ensuring timely completion.
- Support onboarding for new employees.
- Maintain the Learning Hub/Intranet and manage the L&D inbox.
- Collaborate with SMEs to develop and improve learning materials.
- Ensure content aligns with company values and brand.
- Produce regular learning reports and maintain dashboards.
- Track key metrics such as attendance, completion, and feedback.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using digital tools.
- Manage invoices, purchase orders, and budgets.
- Support L&D processes, templates, and best practices.
You will have:
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in data management and reporting.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Stakeholder management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Experience coordinating training or events (virtual and in-person).
- Confidence using digital tools, learning systems, and reporting dashboards.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work proactively.
- Financial administration skills (invoices, purchase orders, budget tracking).
- Ideal previous experience in a learning and development role is highly desired.
