What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Take full ownership of growth, retention, and development across a portfolio of UK key accounts
  • Lead and develop a team of Key Account Managers, driving performance and accountability
  • Build and execute strategic account plans to deliver year-on-year growth and service expansion
  • Act as the senior point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are understood and delivered internally
  • Identify new opportunities within accounts by uncovering challenges and shaping tailored solutions
  • Lead commercial activity including contract renewals, negotiations, and new service propositions
  • Collaborate with operations, IT, and support functions to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Develop strong C-level relationships across strategic accounts, both locally and nationally
  • Oversee performance reporting, KPIs, and customer satisfaction metrics across all accounts
  • Represent the business externally, building networks and gathering market insight

Main Skills Needed:

  • Proven leadership experience managing key accounts within supply chain, logistics, or 3PL environments
  • Strong commercial acumen, including P&L ownership and contract negotiation
  • Experience managing complex, multi-site or multi-service client relationships
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite
  • Track record of driving account growth and identifying new revenue opportunities
  • Deep understanding of forward and reverse supply chains, ideally within tech, telecoms, or consumer sectors
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working with industry standards and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO)
