What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the product roadmap, backlog and delivery for a portfolio of secure networking products.
- Work closely with Product Managers and Portfolio teams to define and prioritise product features.
- Lead products through discovery, alpha, beta and live phases, ensuring customer value is delivered at every stage.
- Prioritise features and backlog items to align with business goals, customer journeys and commercial objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering, UX, solution design and business analysis teams using Agile delivery practices.
- Champion customer needs, ensuring product decisions improve usability, performance and adoption.
- Monitor product performance after launch, using insights and data to drive continuous improvement.
- Present roadmaps, progress, risks and priorities to senior stakeholders with confidence.
- Balance innovation with technical debt reduction, operational support and cost optimisation.
- Define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria and product requirements to ensure engineering teams are set up for success.
- Support quarterly planning activities and maintain a healthy, prioritised backlog.
- Mentor and provide functional leadership to Business Analysts, helping develop high-quality requirements.
- Contribute to the wider product community, ensuring alignment across products and strategic initiatives.
- Drive improvements to product management processes and ways of working.
Main Skills Needed
- Proven experience as a Product Owner within an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of product strategy, product lifecycle management and roadmap planning.
- Experience managing backlogs using Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong leadership, coaching and line management experience.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer value and business outcomes.
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria and working closely with engineering teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Knowledge of Lead-to-Cash (L2C), Concept-to-Market (C2M) or similar product delivery processes.
- Experience within Security and/or SD-WAN products would be highly advantageous.
- Engineering, Business or related degree preferred.
