Workday Functional Consultant – 6 month FTC \\n Help shape the future of HR and payroll systems for a business investing in smarter, scalable Workday solutions. This is your chance to join a growing “tier 2” team that’s building capability, streamlining processes, and making a real impact across key Workday domains. \\n\\n Role Overview: \\n\\n Location: Remote / UK-based \\n Package: Competitive salary + benefits \\n Industry: Technology / Professional Services \\n\\n What You’ll Be Doing: \\n\\n Deliver Workday configuration and enhancements across HCM, Time & Absence, and Payroll modules.

\\n Manage lower-complexity builds with minimal supervision, supporting the core Workday team. \\n Analyse functional requirements, recommend improvements, and implement best-practice solutions. \\n Collaborate with Tier 1 teams to resolve transaction issues and optimise existing workflows.

\\n Build and maintain reports, calculated fields, and dashboards to support business insight. \\n Configure business processes, notifications, and security groups to align with operational needs. \\n Support integrations and ensure smooth cross-functional data flow between Workday modules.

\\n\\n Main Skills Needed: \\n\\n Workday PRO certification in relevant functional areas. \\n Strong understanding of HCM fundamentals — Business Processes, Reporting, Security, and Calculated Fields. \\n Hands-on experience with Onboarding, Job Changes, Terminations, and Security Group management.

\\n Deep expertise in Time & Absence setup — accruals, leave configurations, eligibility, and validation rules. \\n Payroll configuration and processing experience, including building Earnings, Deductions, and Account Posting Rules. \\n Familiarity with integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, APIs) and data reporting for Payroll and Accounting.
