Role Overview:

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing, developing and testing control system and SCADA solutions for highly regulated environments
- Working on human-computer interface and platform management systems used in operational naval settings
- Translating customer and stakeholder requirements into robust technical solutions
- Developing and validating software on RedHat Linux-based systems
- Producing clear technical documentation in line with regulatory and internal standards
- Supporting systems throughout their operational lifecycle, including in-service capability
- Collaborating with project teams and contributing to technical reviews and briefings
Main Skills Needed:
- Experience developing software within SCADA environments using languages such as C#, C++ or VB
- Strong hands-on knowledge of RedHat Linux
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and regulated engineering processes
- Background in defence, maritime, aerospace, or another safety-critical industrial sector
- Qualification (degree, HNC/HND or equivalent) in Software, Systems, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Ability to gain and maintain UK SC security clearance
Nice to have:
- Experience with Siemens WinCC Open Architecture (OA)
