In this role, you’ll be part of a fast-growing consultancy that delivers cutting-edge software solutions to solve some of the UK’s most complex national security challenges. You’ll play a key part in shaping high-impact projects while working alongside experts who thrive on collaboration and innovation.

Role Overview:

  • Location: Bristol, Cheltenham or Manchester

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Embedding continuous automated testing into CI/CD pipelines from the start.
  • Designing and implementing test frameworks across UI and API.
  • Carrying out both manual and automated testing, supported by exploratory testing where needed.
  • Using open-source tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber, Robot Framework and Rest Assured.
  • Applying agile and DevOps practices including TDD, BDD and continuous testing.
  • Supporting non-functional testing (performance, security, accessibility and OAT).
  • Driving improvements across QA processes and sharing new ideas within the wider testing community.

Main Skills Needed:

  • Strong background in manual and automation testing across complex solutions.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
  • Hands-on knowledge of open-source testing tools and frameworks.
  • Comfortable working in agile delivery teams and contributing to best practice.
  • Proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for learning and innovation.
  • Eligible for high-level security clearance (UK passport holder, resident in the UK for the last 5 years).
