Role Overview
- Location: Local to Brighton (minimum 2 days per week onsite)
- Package: Competitive Day-Rate Inside IR35
- Start-Date: Immediate
- Duration: Initial 3-Months with view to extend
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and develop the organisation’s end-to-end process architecture, ensuring consistency across multiple business functions.
- Define and maintain process frameworks, standards, governance models and documentation approaches.
- Lead the design and optimisation of cross-functional processes to improve efficiency, compliance and customer outcomes.
- Create and maintain key process artefacts including process maps, value streams, governance frameworks and operating procedures.
- Provide leadership and direction to process performance activities, ensuring meaningful KPIs and performance measures are in place.
- Use process insights and operational data to identify improvement opportunities, mitigate risks and strengthen controls.
- Partner with automation and digital teams to assess opportunities for workflow optimisation, AI adoption and process digitisation.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to drive engagement, alignment and process ownership across the business.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and champion a culture of process excellence.
- Present recommendations, architectural models and performance insights to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
Main Skills Needed
- Significant experience in process architecture, business process improvement or operational excellence environments.
- Expertise in process modelling methodologies, including BPMN 2.0 and recognised industry frameworks.
- Strong understanding of governance, process ownership models and enterprise-wide process design.
- Experience developing KPI frameworks, performance measures and process improvement strategies.
- Ability to analyse complex operational challenges and translate insights into practical solutions.
- Knowledge of digital transformation, automation technologies, workflow platforms and AI-enabled process improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels of an organisation.
- Experience facilitating workshops, driving collaboration and embedding change across business functions.
- Familiarity with process modelling, analytics and visualisation tools such as Visio, Signavio, ARIS or Power BI.
- Lean Six Sigma, BPM certifications or similar process improvement qualifications would be advantageous.
