We are currently recruiting for a telecommunications company for the role of 2nd Line Support IT Analyst. What you’ll be doing:
- Serve as the escalation point for advanced technical issues, performing thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting via remote tools and deep technical expertise.
- Collaborate closely with 1st Line Support to elevate security standards, appropriately escalate unresolved issues, and coordinate with third-party vendors to drive resolutions.
- Identify, initiate, and process change requests, actively participate in change approval meetings, and help enhance incident management procedures.
- Deliver on-site support as needed, including installations, hardware decommissions, and acting as a technical representative - comprehensive training provided.
Main Skills/ Requirements:
- A full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle are essential.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in both 1st and 2nd Line Support, preferably within a Network Operations Centre (NOC) or cellular network environment.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, solid understanding of network engineering principles, and familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) systems.
- Experience with change management processes or supporting network infrastructure projects is desirable.
- Industry certifications (e.g., Cradlepoint, Ruckus, Cisco) are preferred and will strengthen your application.
