What You’ll Be Doing:
- Taking ownership of the organisation’s IT infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance and security
- Acting as the senior escalation point for complex third-line technical incidents
- Leading infrastructure projects across upgrades, migrations and integrations
- Supporting business change initiatives, including the integration of existing environments
- Working closely with engineering and service delivery teams to keep operations aligned
- Proactively monitoring systems and addressing risks before they impact the business
- Driving continuous improvement across infrastructure tools, processes and documentation
- Managing patching, upgrades and planned out-of-hours work when required
- Overseeing SLAs, reporting on performance and identifying areas for improvement
- Maintaining accurate asset records and detailed system documentation
Main Skills Needed:
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in infrastructure management within enterprise environments
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure migrations end-to-end
- Background in people management with experience leading IT teams
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and hybrid Active Directory
- Demonstrated ownership of project delivery across all phases, including planning, execution and post-implementation support
- Solid networking expertise across LAN, WAN and SD-WAN
- Experience with virtual desktop platforms such as Citrix DaaS or VMware Horizon
- Confident working with ITSM tools and structured incident management processes
- Broad understanding of backup, monitoring and security best practices
- Experience with MDM solutions such as Intune or similar
- Comfortable coordinating engineers across different regions and time zones
