Location: Farnborough x2 a week (with up to 12 weeks a year global travel - fully expensed)

Package: Up to £70,000 + strong benefits

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining modern software solutions with a collaborative engineering team.
  • Building front-end interfaces with JavaScript/TypeScript (React) and developing robust back-end services in Java, Python, or Go.
  • Using GIT for version control and working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Deploying and maintaining applications with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Staying hands-on with containerisation, automation, and emerging technologies.
  • Engaging in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and adopting best practices.
  • Travelling worldwide to support deployments and customer projects.

Main Skills Needed:

  • Strong commercial experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Back-end development in Java, Python, or Go.
  • Cloud expertise with AWS or Azure.
  • Practical experience with Docker and CI/CD automation.
  • Solid understanding of software design principles and data structures.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Adaptable, curious, and willing to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC/DV).

Nice to have: Kubernetes, Agile methods, and a grounding in web security.
