This global tech business is at the forefront of digital transformation, helping major organisations manage, protect, and make sense of their data. As they expand their Professional Services division, they’re after a Cloud Engineer who can help design, build, and evolve secure cloud infrastructure that supports agile delivery.

Location: Home based (Gloucester or London, when required)

Package: Competitive salary + benefits + security clearance bonus

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing and deploying secure cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Automating infrastructure using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Supporting CI/CD pipelines and agile project delivery
  • Monitoring system performance and resolving issues across cloud platforms
  • Working closely with DevOps, security, and software teams
  • Maintaining clear documentation for architecture and procedures
  • Evaluating and recommending new cloud technologies

Main Skills Needed:

  • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
  • Proficient with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, etc.)
  • Confident scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Familiar with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, etc.)
  • Hands-on with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
  • Eligible to hold and maintain high-level Security Clearance
