What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with software teams to boost system reliability and performance.
- Automate repetitive tasks and streamline alerting alongside system administrators.
- Enhance monitoring and observability to prevent issues before they affect services.
- Support development environments to meet delivery and quality targets.
- Research and advise on tools, technologies, and cloud/on-prem infrastructure solutions.
- Build expertise across diverse technical and business domains.
- Contribute to the evolution of cloud and on‑prem delivery pipelines.
Main Skills Needed:
- Hands‑on experience with configuration management (Ansible, Chef, or similar) and Terraform.
- Proficient with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Skilled in CI/CD tooling (Jenkins or equivalent) and monitoring platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, InfluxDB).
- Knowledge of event‑driven messaging (RabbitMQ or similar) and relational databases/SQL.
- Strong Linux administration, shell scripting, and network security understanding.
- Cloud experience (AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda) and ideally Azure.
- Coding experience in Java, Go, Python, or similar is a plus.
