Location: Hybrid – Cheltenham

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Taking ownership of delivery for large-scale software projects within government and defence.
  • Managing project planning, progress tracking, reporting and escalation where needed.
  • Balancing agile and traditional project management to keep delivery on track.
  • Building strong relationships with partners, stakeholders and customers.
  • Leading and motivating cross-functional teams, driving collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Adapting delivery methods to suit project needs, including agile and scaled agile frameworks.
  • Actively contributing to the wider delivery community, sharing best practice and mentoring colleagues.

Main Skills Needed:

  • Experience managing agile software projects, ideally within government or large organisations.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and ceremonies.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution.
  • Commercial awareness covering budgets, risk and forecasting.
  • Ability to build, support and lead high-performing teams.
  • Eligible for high-level security clearance (British citizen, UK resident for the last 5 years).
