This is a hands‑on role shaping data capability that directly supports critical decision‑making in complex, high‑stakes environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Designing end‑to‑end data architectures that support secure, mission‑critical environments
  • Translating complex requirements into scalable, tailored data solutions
  • Developing and embedding data strategy, governance, and best practice frameworks
  • Leading delivery across modern data platforms and cloud‑based technologies
  • Building proof‑of‑concept solutions and supporting innovation across data capability
  • Working closely with stakeholders, engineers, and delivery teams to ensure alignment and impact
  • Supporting the development of reusable frameworks, tools, and managed service offerings
  • Applying secure‑by‑design principles in highly regulated environments

Main Skills Needed

  • Strong background in data architecture, including modelling, integration, transformation, and migration
  • Experience with data governance, metadata, and master data management
  • Proven ability to support analytics environments and AI‑enabled solutions
  • Strong data quality experience, including KPI definition and automated validation approaches
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS and/or Azure) such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, ADF, Synapse or equivalent
  • Ability to operate in highly secure environments (active DV clearance required)
  • Confident communicator with experience engaging technical and non‑technical stakeholders
