Tax Systems Production Support Service Engineer – 6 month FTC

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Maintain and support Oracle Fusion Tax and Vertex configurations across multiple tax jurisdictions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting tax calculations for Payables, Receivables, and Intercompany transactions.
• Configure tax rules, rates, and exemptions to ensure compliance with global tax regulations.
• Monitor system performance and support upgrades, patches, and tax updates.
• Manage integration between Oracle Cloud ERP and Vertex, identifying and resolving data and rule conflicts.
• Use SQL to analyse, reconcile, and report on tax data across systems and ledgers.
• Support audits, period-end processes, and compliance reporting for VAT, GST, Sales & Use, and Withholding Taxes.
• Collaborate with tax, finance, procurement, and IT teams to ensure seamless, compliant operations.

Main Skills Needed:

• Proven experience with Oracle Fusion Tax and Vertex tax engines (5+ years).
• Strong understanding of indirect taxation (Sales & Use Tax, VAT, GST, Withholding Tax).
• Hands-on experience in ERP-tax integrations, preferably Oracle Cloud.
• Confident with SQL for tax data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and audit processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.
