What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead end-to-end QA delivery across financial testing streams, from planning through to execution
  • Own test strategies, estimates, and key artefacts aligned to project timelines
  • Manage and mentor QA team members, supporting performance and workload allocation
  • Track progress, risks, and issues, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders
  • Run defect triage sessions, driving prioritisation and resolution
  • Collaborate with technical teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders to maintain quality across integrations
  • Review requirements and designs, providing a QA-focused perspective
  • Perform detailed financial reconciliation across transactions, prize allocations, and reporting datasets
  • Carry out complex Excel-based calculations to validate financial models and outcomes
  • Investigate discrepancies and support root-cause analysis
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across QA processes and standards

Main Skills Needed:

  • Strong QA background (6+ years) across functional and structured testing
  • Proven experience in financial testing, reconciliation, or data-heavy environments
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex modelling and large dataset handling
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability with strong attention to detail
  • Experience with risk-based testing and requirement validation
  • Familiarity with test environments, data setup, and configuration management
  • Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills
  • Exposure to tools like Jira, Confluence, TestRail, and API testing tools
