Management Information Analyst
Data drives decisions, and this role is all about making sure those decisions are smart. Joining a leading lottery consultancy with a real appetite for insight, you’ll help shape how data informs strategy, performance, and growth in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
This is a chance to play a key role in their migration to Power BI, helping unlock better reporting and smarter business decisions.
Role Overview:
- Location: Hybrid, 2 days per week in Hertfordshire.
- Role: 9 Month Fixed Term Contract
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing and maintaining insightful Power BI dashboards for key business reporting
- Translating stakeholder needs into clear, impactful data visualisations
- Extracting, cleaning, and transforming data from multiple sources for accurate reporting
- Enhancing and optimising existing reports and dashboards
- Delivering ad hoc analysis to support both day-to-day operations and strategic projects
- Championing data governance and ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Supporting users with training and guidance on using Power BI tools effectively
Main Skills Needed:
- Solid experience in business intelligence or data analysis
- Advanced Power BI skills, including data modelling and dashboard creation
- Confident SQL user with hands-on experience of relational databases
- Excellent analytical thinking with a knack for problem-solving
- Clear, confident communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of data governance, quality assurance, and best practice reporting
- Bonus points for experience with other BI tools, cloud platforms, or operational reporting
