Role Overview

  • Location: Static role - Southall
  • Package: £30,000 - £35,000 + benefits
  • Industry: Property & Facilities Management

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carry out routine maintenance, repairs and inspections across the development.
  • Take ownership of on-site tasks — from lighting and plumbing fixes to decoration and minor carpentry.
  • Support risk management routines, ensuring safety checks and compliance logs are completed accurately.
  • Supervise contractors, review RAMS, and issue work permits when needed.
  • Record maintenance activities using internal systems and keep audit trails up to date.
  • Work closely with managers, residents and contractors to ensure the site remains safe, clean and well maintained.
  • Contribute to fire, water and plant room testing schedules, ensuring all results are properly documented.

Main Skills Needed

  • Broad maintenance skills (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, decoration).
  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety and risk assessments.
  • Able to work independently and make sound decisions on the spot.
  • Strong communication and basic IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Positive, proactive approach with attention to detail and pride in presentation.
  • Professional, customer-focused mindset with confidence liaising across teams.
