What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting supplier selection and strategy for key defence programmes
- Leading tenders, negotiations, and contract agreements with 3rd party vendors
- Managing supplier performance, availability, and pricing to meet delivery targets
- Handling obsolescence risks and escalating any issues impacting project schedules
- Driving continuous improvement in supplier operations and procurement processes
- Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure supplier alignment with programme goals
Main Skills Needed
- Strong supply chain or subcontract management experience in complex environments
- Skilled in contract law, negotiation, and supplier relationship management
- Familiarity with defence, aerospace, or engineering-led projects
- Ability to balance cost, quality, and delivery in supplier decision-making
- Confident working across teams and influencing commercial outcomes
- Eligible for (or currently hold) UK SC security clearance
