What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting supplier selection and strategy for key defence programmes
  • Leading tenders, negotiations, and contract agreements with 3rd party vendors
  • Managing supplier performance, availability, and pricing to meet delivery targets
  • Handling obsolescence risks and escalating any issues impacting project schedules
  • Driving continuous improvement in supplier operations and procurement processes
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure supplier alignment with programme goals

Main Skills Needed

  • Strong supply chain or subcontract management experience in complex environments
  • Skilled in contract law, negotiation, and supplier relationship management
  • Familiarity with defence, aerospace, or engineering-led projects
  • Ability to balance cost, quality, and delivery in supplier decision-making
  • Confident working across teams and influencing commercial outcomes
  • Eligible for (or currently hold) UK SC security clearance
