What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing and enhancing secure, multi-environment infrastructure across virtualised and cloud platforms
- Supporting and optimising collaboration and development environments across varying security classifications
- Delivering infrastructure support across public, private and hybrid cloud environments, including SaaS platforms like Microsoft 365
- Carrying out maintenance, upgrades and changes through structured change control processes
- Monitoring systems, triaging alerts and resolving incidents to maintain service availability
- Driving improvements in system performance, stability and security through proactive analysis
- Ensuring patching and security controls align with best practice and internal policies
- Contributing to Secure-by-Design principles across projects and internal systems
- Collaborating with teams and stakeholders to provide technical guidance and infrastructure expertise
- Creating and sharing knowledge to support continuous improvement across the wider team
- Supporting business growth by contributing technical insight into new opportunities
Main Skills Needed:
- Strong experience with Windows Server (2016+) and Linux environments (CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu)
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms, particularly Azure and Microsoft 365
- Virtualisation expertise, including VMware environments
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools such as OpenShift (Kubernetes desirable)
- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals and secure infrastructure design
- Automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Ansible)
- Familiarity with endpoint provisioning, patching and hardening (e.g. Autopilot)
- Understanding of SSO and identity management concepts
- Experience working within secure or highly regulated environments
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management and problem-solving capabilities
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate effectively across teams
Nice to have:
- Kubernetes platforms (e.g. TKGI), Terraform, Vault
- DevSecOps tooling, Elastic, Nessus
- Agile delivery experience
