This is a high-impact finance role sitting at the heart of a growing, tech-driven business. You’ll partner closely with senior technology leaders, helping shape investment decisions and ensuring spend drives real value.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Act as the key finance partner to the Technology Leadership Team, building strong, trusted relationships
- Provide clear financial insight on performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities
- Turn complex financial data into straightforward, actionable narratives for non-finance stakeholders
- Own and deliver regular reporting and performance updates, ensuring clarity across both Finance and Technology teams
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles end-to-end, ensuring accuracy and alignment across multiple entities
- Analyse variances against plan, providing meaningful commentary and recommendations
- Drive cost visibility across technology spend, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
- Track and report on cost-saving initiatives and ensure benefits are reflected in forecasts
- Promote financial discipline and awareness across technology teams
- Keep senior finance stakeholders informed on performance, risks, and opportunities
Main Skills Needed:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong post-qualified experience
- Proven background in finance business partnering within Technology, IT, or Digital functions
- Experience in financial services or insurance environments
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence decision‑making
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
- Solid understanding of technology cost drivers (e.g. cloud, SaaS, contractors, managed services)
- Comfortable working in evolving environments and bringing structure to ambiguity
