The Opportunity

Working within a collaborative technical team, you'll support secure digital environments while helping deliver innovative solutions that have real operational impact.
This is a hands-on role where you'll troubleshoot technical issues, support end users and contribute to the reliability, security and continuous improvement of critical systems.
The Role
As a Support Engineer, you'll provide both desk-side and remote technical support across a range of technologies, working closely with engineers, architects and delivery teams to ensure users receive an exceptional support experience.
Your responsibilities will include
- Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support across users, devices and infrastructure.
- Managing support tickets, providing regular updates and escalating complex issues where appropriate.
- Delivering desk-side and remote end-user support.
- Responding to monitoring alerts and assisting with incident management.
- Supporting Microsoft 365, Windows, mac OS and endpoint management environments.
- Maintaining accurate documentation within the ticketing system and knowledge base.
- Communicating incidents and planned maintenance to the wider user community.
- Supporting device provisioning, user onboarding and ongoing system administration.
- Occasionally travelling to customer or operational sites when required.
- What you'll bring
We're looking for someone with a customer-focused approach, strong troubleshooting skills and a genuine passion for technology.
You'll ideally have experience with
- Windows 10/11 and mac OS support.
- Microsoft 365 administration.
- Azure, Entra ID or Active Directory administration.
- Microsoft Intune or other endpoint management platforms.
- End-user device provisioning and user onboarding.
- Security technologies including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Conditional Access.
- ITSM platforms such as Atlassian or similar ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and continuously develop.
Experience with any of the following would be advantageous
- Windows Server administration.
- i OS and i Pad OS support.
- JAMF or similar mac OS MDM solutions.
- Group Policy configuration and troubleshooting.
- Power Shell scripting.
