Configuration Manager

Introduction

This role sits at the heart of a business driving smarter ways of working through technology. You’ll be shaping and managing the configuration data that underpins services, ensuring processes are smooth, accurate and automated.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing the full CI lifecycle, including baseline mapping and reconciliation.
  • Building and maintaining service models with clear constructs and relationships.
  • Using discovery tools to automate data population and structure creation.
  • Working with configuration teams to design and deliver integrations and automations.
  • Applying and maintaining consistent naming conventions across systems.
  • Driving CI reconciliation and de-duplication to ensure data integrity.
  • Supporting asset and configuration management processes across SAM, HAM and SACM.

Main Skills Needed:

  • Strong experience in CI lifecycle management and baseline mapping.
  • Knowledge of service modelling and configuration data structures.
  • Hands-on experience with discovery tools, automation, and integrations.
  • Understanding of naming conventions and reconciliation processes.
  • Familiarity with SAM, HAM and SACM frameworks.
