Location: Lancashire and Cheshire

Addison Project Plc is seeking two contractors to provide Electrical Project Engineering Services / Electrical Supervision services for a period of 9 months in Lancashire and Cheshire.

Workscope

  • To provide site based Electrical Project Engineering / Supervision Services for a manufacturing site installation project in Lancashire and Cheshire.
  • Supervise electrical installation trades on site.
  • Supervise and monitor the Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation Contractor.
  • Co-ordinating RAMS/PTW etc, ensuring works are completed safely and to programme.
  • Represent the client in front of the Principal Contractor & Contractors.
  • Control the Electrical activities progress and ensure full compliance with targeted schedules during both operations and shutdowns.
  • Manage any Electrical engineering modifications, variations etc, recommend electrical solutions or alterations and control the quality of installations.
  • Participate in the cold and hot tests while documenting the testing protocols and results.
  • Progress reporting.
  • Support and ensure a full safe working environment as per CDM regulations.
  • Ensure the quality of all site electrical Works in compliance to UK regulations and HM Design, Criteria & Standards.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Suitable and relevant UK onshore experience working in the chemical, petrochemical or heavy manufacturing sector as either an Electrical Supervisor or site based Electrical Project Engineer. Note commercial, residential and domestic experience is NOT suitable.
  • Knowledge of Installation of various electrical parts, including MCC, MV motors.
