WORKSCOPEBased at our Head Office in Thornton‑Cleveleys and working at our client’s local site you will work with sub‑contractors, the client and our onsite team to oversee and manage a new build process sector construction project.
SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED- Daily coordination of sub‑contractors and management of associated TQ’s.
- Review design packages and 3D models to ensure cost‑effective installation methodologies are delivered both safely and efficiently.
- Assist in developing the installation construction programme.
- Monitor project progress against programme and budget, providing regular updates to project management.
- Assist in developing health and safety management culture on site, including regular safety audits.
- Promote continuous improvement and foster a collaborative site culture.
- Carry out technical reviews of designs including assisting with material selection and constructability.
- Assist with the pre‑qualification vetting of contractor’s submissions and contract negotiations.
- Implementation of CDM Construction Phase H&S Plan.
- Complete quality inspections and produce punch lists.
- UK, Onshore, construction management experience within the Chemical, Petrochemical, Food and Beverage or Pharmaceutical sectors. This experience is essential and only suitably experienced candidates will be progressed.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary contractors, operating in the capacity of Principal Contractor, and working with a design team.
- Civil background essential, ideally gained from a trade background.
- A recognised qualification in Civil Construction Engineering.
- SMSTS / IOSH / NEBOSH qualified.
- Temporary works management experience (ideally Temporary works coordinator).
- Experience of subcontract management, package procurement, design development, quality management, Health & Safety (including a relevant qualification), and liaising with the client and multidisciplinary design teams.
