Mount Abraham Unified School District is seeking a licensed special educator to join the Beeman Student Support Services team and add to the comprehensive system of support. The ideal candidate has experience working in inclusive settings supporting students with disabilities, designing and implementing evidence‑based interventions, and monitoring individual student growth.

Knowledge and experience are needed in all facets of a special educator's role, including:

  • Evidence based interventions in literacy and mathematics
  • Intensive academic and social emotional systems of support
  • Post‑secondary transition planning
  • Collaborative teaming
  • Co‑teaching
  • Collaboration with families and inter‑agency providers

Salary Range: $53,875 - $101,878 and commensurate with experience in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Job Requirements:

  • Vermont Teaching License with Special Education endorsement
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
