Mount Abraham Unified School District is seeking a licensed special educator to join the district's Student Support Services team and add to the comprehensive system of support. The ideal candidate has experience working in inclusive settings supporting students with disabilities, designing and implementing evidence‑based interventions, and monitoring individual student growth.

Knowledge and experience are needed in all facets of a special educator's role (e.g., evidence‑based interventions in literacy and mathematics, intensive academic and social‑emotional systems of support, post‑secondary transition planning, collaborative teaming, co‑teaching, and collaboration with families and inter‑agency providers).

Salary: $53,875 - $101,878 and commensurate with experience.

Job Requirements:

  • Vermont Teaching License with Special Education endorsement.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
