We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and professional Residential Support Staff to provide direct care to an individual with developmental disabilities who will reside in a residential setting staffed 24/7. This role focuses on supporting the client in developing self-regulation skills, promoting independence, and maintaining a safe and respectful home environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support, supervision, and crisis intervention to ensure client safety.
  • Build a therapeutic, respectful, and choice-driven living environment.
  • Implement the individualized support plan, and behavioral support plan.
  • Assist with personal care, medication administration, transportation, and household duties.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including daily data, incident reports, and financial tracking.
  • Support clients in building healthy relationships, community inclusion, and self-advocacy.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2–4 years related experience preferred.
  • Ability to support individuals who may exhibit dangerous or unpredictable behaviors.
  • Strong judgment, professionalism, and documentation skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, web navigation).
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations; flexible and creative problem-solver.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable insured vehicle.

Position Details

  • 37.5+ hours/week, which includes evening, overnight and weekend hours.
  • Base rate of $21.43/hour daytime, and $17.68 overnight.
