Main Accountabilities
- Talent Acquisition
- Responsible for recruiting across all roles business wide at all levels, tailoring the approach for each campaign.
- Taking ownership of attracting top talent through a range of sourcing channels.
- Proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn recruiter, job boards, events, networking, referrals and headhunting.
- Commercially minded, managing the end-to-end hiring process, partnering closely with hiring managers and acting as a trusted advisor.
- Responsible for building and maintaining a diverse talent pipeline (both internal & external) to support current and future needs.
- Contributing to employer branding initiatives across platforms like Glassdoor, LinkedIn and our own website.
- Uses market knowledge and initiative to solve hard to recruit roles with a range of methods and cost-effective channels.
- Maximises use of the ATS (currently Teamtailor) to increase efficiencies and improve candidate experience.
- Responsible for managing and refreshing the PSL.
- Analyses all recruitment activity to ensure ongoing improvement and produces regular reports and insights.
- Works with managers to ensure job descriptions are kept up to date.
- Coaches and guides more junior HR team members in recruitment best practice.
- Keeps abreast of the market and current attraction methods and provides salary benchmarking data to the business.
- Leverages the apprenticeship levy to build out an effective apprenticeship programme.
- Engagement
- Manage the build, delivery and analysis of annual employee engagement survey, including post-survey action planning.
- Help create an engaging working environment for future generations, working closely with the wider HR team.
- Lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s culture and values.
- Manage and plan engagement activities across all locations, ensuring annual cycle is maintained and delivered within budget.
Requirements
- Demonstrable recent internal/in-house recruitment experience across a broad range of roles.
- Experience of engaging with and sourcing candidates across a range of sectors and levels.
- Fantastic stakeholder management experience, able to engage with all levels of the business.
- Experience running engagement surveys, reporting on data and creating action plans.
- Confident in designing and delivering recruitment training to managers.
- Excellent attention to detail, organising and planning skills.
- Uses an equitable and inclusive approach to sourcing talent.
- Comfortable acting as a vocal Addison Lee ambassador on external platforms.
- Strong team player who can work on own initiative, coupled with a positive attitude and flexible approach.
- An up-to-date knowledge of the recruitment landscape, legislative changes and hiring techniques.
- Data driven and analytical approach to managing the process along with ongoing reporting of key metrics.
- Working knowledge of the apprenticeship levy is desirable.
- Experience of salary benchmarking database(s) is desirable.
