About the Role

The role involves tasks such as brake pad replacement, exhaust replacement, tyre replacement, puncture repair, light bulb, wing mirror, and indicator replacement — all carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.

Requirements

  • Carry out general vehicle maintenance and repairs to Addison Lee fleet vehicles, including brake pad replacement, exhaust replacement, tyre replacement, puncture repair, AdBlue top-ups, light bulb replacement, and vehicle trim replacement.
  • Liaise with workshop supervisors to plan daily tasks.
  • Work in line with Health and Safety directives.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work bay and equipment, ensuring they are free of obstruction and ready for use.
  • Perform any other reasonable management requests.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Vehicle maintenance and servicing
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal

Shift Pattern

Monday – Saturday, 8:00 – 16:30 (48-hour week)

Salary up to £33,500, plus benefits including: Up to 5% bonus, Life Insurance (Death in Service), 2 days paid volunteering leave per year, Private Medical and Travel Insurance (after 1 year), Wellness Program, Cycle to Work Scheme, 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), retail discounts via Reward Gateway (5% off major supermarkets), support for professional training and qualifications via apprenticeships, season ticket loans, discounted cabs and courier services within London.
