Customize Consent Preferences Always Active Addison Project Plc is seeking a contractor to provide Senior Instrument Design services for a period of 12 month, this service is to be provided from our Middlesbrough office. Services to be provided Complete site surveys to measure and investigate, determine equipment locations, cable routes, and liaise with client’s engineers Specify instrumentation with respect to pressure, temperature, flow, level etc ATEX Directives for selection and installation of control and electrical equipment in Hazardous Areas Design and produce all types of drawings & documentation, including instrument loop diagrams, installation / layout diagrams for cable route and equipment location, Installation Scopes of Work, material & cable schedules and tender packages Experience Required You must possess suitable and relevant qualifications within EC&I, minimum of an HNC preferably a Degree. You must have experience in working to British and International Standards, Company Standards, Industry Regulations, EC Directives. It would also be beneficial to have experience of CDM Regulations, Method Statements and Risk Assessments. Knowledge of PLC and DCS control system I/O interfacing is also preferred. Demonstrable experience working as a Senior Instrument Designer (Or Control & Instrument) in the UK onshore process sector, ideally on COMAH site projects You must also be familiar with the use of PC software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and AutoCAD You must be able to work on your own initiative and work to deadlines If you have the skills and experience in the above areas and would like to be considered for the role, please, send CV to: vacancies@addisonproject.co.uk We look forward to receiving your application!
