Addison Project Plc requires a contactor to provide Quantity Surveying services for a period of 6 months based in Middlesbrough.
Services to be provided:
- Support the Project Manager with all commercial activities to ensure the projects remain within the budget and to the client brief, you will have full commercial responsibility and will be comfortable leading this.
- Administer NEC4 contracts to process sector greenfield and brownfield projects
- Monthly applications for payment
- Issue early warning notices
- Draft sub-contractor contracts
- Cashflow forecasts and reporting
- Client meetings and liaison
Experience Required
- Quantity Surveying experience working with Tier 1 contractors
- Minimum HNC in either cost management, commercial or quantity surveying
- Solid NEC 3 and 4 experience with Option A, C and E
- Proactive will the ability to work on your own initiative
- Contracting experience is essential, this can be mixed with client-side experience but must be demonstrable.
- You must have the desire and ability to ensure that all commercial activities are accounted for, reported and on track and to budget.
- Client facing, you will be comfortable communicating with both clients and internal Addison teams and leading these discussions.
