We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our Daresbury office as part of our process engineering team. This role is well suited to a graduate or developing engineer looking to build hands‑on experience across a wide range of UK‑based design engineering projects within a high‑performing consultancy environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Produce process calculations, data sheets and equipment specifications
  • Develop PFDs, P&IDs and cause & effect diagrams
  • Support the preparation of process philosophies, reports and schedules
  • Assist with plant troubleshooting and site‑based investigations
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to assist with technical queries
  • Support HAZOP/HAZID preparation and participation

Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Strong technical foundation and willingness to develop professionally
  • Familiarity with process design tools and industry regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to learning
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for delivering safe, fit‑for‑purpose, accurate design, completed to cost and programme
  • Exposure to work in a multi‑discipline team
  • Demonstrable experience working on site at a process plant and or manufacturing plant
